Q. Is there a waiting period between
the time I become a member of the credit union and when I may
apply for a loan?
A. No, you may apply for a loan anytime after membership.
Q. Is there a minimum age requirement
for opening checking and ATM accounts?
A. Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age. If you are
under 18 (legal age) you may use these accounts if an adult signs
the agreement with you. Children between the ages of 13 and 17
may open a checking account through our "Cha-Ching Teen Club,"
however, without a parent's co-signature.
Q. Once a stop payment is issued, how
long does it last?
A. Six months which is the same amount of time that a check
is valid. To be sure it is not cashed, you may wish to reinstate
the stop payment.
Q. Do I have the ability to make loan
payments over the phone?
A. Yes, from your credit union accounts to your credit
union loans via "Call 24." You may also make payments via the
web through our online banking services.
Q. Does the credit union offer auto leasing?
A. No, but we do offer low rate financing along with 100%
financing of both new and used cars, whereas at the end of the
term you would own your vehicle.
Q. Does the credit union offer Mortgages
and Home Equity loans?
A. Yes, we currently offer both mortgage products nationwide.

Q. Is there a limit to how many loans
any one member can have?
A. No, this is based strictly on a member's qualifications
as set by the credit unions' lending policy
Q. Is there a penalty if I prepay my
loan?
A. No, interest is calculated on the unpaid balance and
there is no penalty if you pay early.
Q. What are the Credit Union hours?
A. Hamilton Horizons is open Monday thru Wednesday, 9 am
until 3:30 pm, Thursday and Friday, 9 am until 6 pm, and Saturday
9 am until 12:00 pm
